Walking The Ramparts...."I'm The Queen of the Castle"

Las Puertas de Tierra is the main entrance way into the city of Cadiz.
Built around the 16th century.
The two larger opening were made to accommodate the modern traffic challenges of entering into the city.

Cadiz is one of the cleanest cities we have had the privilege of visiting.
Much care and attention is given to the flowers and trees that decorate the city.
Street cleaners are out before 8am cleaning and spray washing the streets.
There is no garbage littering the town.

The entrance to climb the ramparts.

The incredible views from the top of the ramparts.  Completely free to explore these old walls.
As well, built inside these walls are a Puppet Museum and Newspaper Museum which are free of charge to see.
This view is of Santa Maria Beach.

The massive train station in Cadiz, from the rampart view.
You can also see cruise ships that arrive in Cadiz almost everyday with thousands of visitors.

Our way out......that was amazing.
