The Walled Town of Tallinn, Estonia

A beautiful walk into the medieval town of Tallinn, Estonia.  The walled Old Town was so quaint and charming.  Warm and friendly people.  So much cobblestone throughout our meandering on quiet, surprising side streets.
We are welcomed to the Old Town by Fat Margaret Tower.  I'm serious that is the name of the tower.

Many steps to get to the top of the Upper Town.  But well worth it.

Delicious roasted pecans with cinnamon to help give us energy to climb the steps to the old towers.

Tower Square with commanding views of the Old Town.  (To come later)

This town used to have over 46 towers but now there are only 26 left standing.

We are rewarded with this amazing view from the top of the ramparts.
Apparently on a clear day, you can see Helsinki, Finland which is 50 miles away.

A leisurely stroll back to the Town Square.
