Swans of Prague's Vltava River

A number of times we walked across the Charles Bridge and could see that near the rivers edge there were many, many swans being fed by people.
You know how I feel about that.....regardless I wanted to go see.
It is actually one of the experiences to have in Prague.  Tourist groups come by the dozens to feed the swans.

These two beauties that are smooching are Eurasian Coots.
Far from the tourists and swans....but we are close.

The Mute Swan is one of the heaviest flying birds weighing 23-51 pounds?  Yikes.

That's not really a proper hello....butt up and all.

This large population of Swans live here year round in Prague.  They can be seen everywhere on the Vltava River, but they are found more dense here under the Legii Most (bridge).

This wee Mute Swan has the biggest feet....but don't tell him that.
This is a young swan....brown not white....yet.

My sweet, very noisy, cute gull.

Trying to sleep in all this commotion?

That swan is as big as her....hope she has a lot of food and not just tricking the swan?

THAT was fun.
