Plaza de Espana in Sevilla

We are finding our way to the Plaza de Espana....but I think we should go through this amazing looking park.
And what is this?
A Christmas Market in the middle of a park in Seville!

And a ferris wheel???

......and an ice rink????
WOW!!!

After we buy a few goodies at the Christmas Market it is only a 5 minute walk and we arrive at the Plaza de Espana.

Built in 1928 it is an amazing place of mosaics and architecture.

A panoramic photo from Wikipedia below.

Everything you 'might' need while relaxing at the Plaza de Espana.

A semi-circle lake built right in the plaza with row boats to rent.  Many water fowls spend the day playing in the water as well.

Making a swim for it.....really fast.

Beautiful white pigeon....I know....but I love them.

This photo cracks me up.  The unknowing tourists don't see the carriage coming and they continue to take their selfie.  All was well...no animals or people were injured during the taking of this photo.

Gorgeous place to just hang out and chill.

Lots of walking this day....Deb's wee feet are tired...mine too.

The arch ways might look familiar to fans of Star Wars.....it was used as a set during the filming of "Star Wars Episode II- Attack of the Clones."

I changed the photo below to a black and white because I liked the look of it.

Wonderful end to our trip to Seville.
Note to self:  two days is NOT enough time.....
