After relaxing in our hostel for about 2 hours.....we are off to see the amazing Christmas Lights of Seville.
No words needed here.
These balls actually have lights that 'dance' to music...it was incredible!
Nativity scene pieces and mangers you can purchase and add to your collection.
The Cathedral all lit up.....with one of the Christmas Markets...the 'Feria del Belen' or 'The Fair of Cribs of Seville.' It consists of about 30 stands and sells objects and figurines to decorate the nativity scenes.
The front of the Christmas Tree and the inside looking up....of the Christmas Tree at the Puerta de Jerez Plaza, not far from the Seville Cathedral.
Even little alley ways with cafes have coloured lights to celebrate the season.
Guess who else was at the same plaza as Deb and I????
Mickey and Minnie....just saying.
The City Hall entirely decorated with golden lights and all the trees aglow.
It was about 8pm and we still hadn't eaten supper? Yikes.
So....gelato to the rescue....just to hold us until we find a place to eat which we did.
It was a Burger Place....not McDonald's....they actually had really great burgers. Accompanied by sweet potato fries...and that will have to hold us until morning.
A total of 25,000 steps in just this one day in Seville!!!
That is roughly 12 kilometers!!!!
No wonder our feet are screaming.....but with some rest....we will begin again tomorrow.
There is so much to see....an overnight doesn't even touch the time we need to explore this city.
We will be back.
